The Rabbit Hearted Girl

Hey y'all! I'm Sydney from the rabbit-hearted girl, and I'm guest posting for Aly today! She asked me to write about five things that make me extremely happy, and as I sat down to write this post, I realized that this was a more daunting task than it originally seemed to be. Apparently, there are quite a few things that make me happy, and I'm going to attempt to narrow the list down.

{One} The first thing to pop into my head when making this list was the vacation I am currently on! My two best friends and I drove from Dallas, Texas to Orange, California this week and it has been the most fun trip I've ever been on in my life. There is just something wonderful about seeing all of these brand new (to me) parts of the country and doing it with awesome people by my side. I never want to leave this trip!

{Two} When I asked my friends what they thought made me extremely happy, they both immediately said one thing: Frodo. And they are right. This adorable boxer always puts a smile on my face. He's cute. That's really all that needs to be said. Look at that face! (I've missed him while I've been on my trip, can you tell?)

{Three} Music in general makes me happy, but the only band that can bring a smile to my face 100% of the time is the Beatles. I think it's because they have made music to suit any mood. I just find it impossible to listen to them and not instantly feel more cheerful. Take a sad song and make it better, right?

{Four} I've spent the majority of my life living in Texas, which, let's face it, is not known for its beautiful scenery. Therefore it's always kind of shocking to me when I see hills or mountains or anything that is not flat land. Over the last week, I've had the opportunity to see deserts, mountains, the grand canyon, and the Pacific Ocean. Pretty incredible, right? Our world is an incredibly beautiful place and we should all be happy that we get to live surrounded by such beauty!

{Five} Last but very much not least, the people in my life make me so so happy every day. I have been so blessed with both an amazing family and wonderful friendships, and I am so thankful to have such awesome people surrounding me. And I've really hit the jackpot with online friendships, too. Girls like Aly and my other blog friends are what make the blogging world so damn fun.
